St. John Vianney is going to collect food for the Holy Family Food Pantry! SJV Parishioner Larry Hoffman will have his bright red pickup truck parked near the main entrance to the church from 4:30-6:30 pm Saturday, July 20, and 8-10 am Sunday, July 21, and we hope to fill it to overflowing!
While St. John Vianney
always has a collection basket at the back of Church and in the entry vestibule at the Activity Center for non-perishable food, personal care, and home care donations, to the food pantry, SJV will be making this special effort to help stock the food pantry’s shelves during the summer months when the demand for food at the pantry increases and donations decrease.
Suggested Items include boxed cereal, jelly, spaghetti and sauce, boxed potatoes, peanut butter, egg noodles, syrup, canned soup, stuffing pancake mix, canned fruit, and macaroni and cheese.
If you prefer to make a monetary donation, please make checks out to the Holy Family Food Pantry (not St. John Vianney Church). You can drop the check in the collection basket that weekend or drop it by office.
Thank you for your generosity!
